Qualifications
- Must have a Grade 12/NQF Level 4 Certificate
- National Certificate in Electrical Engineering, Plumbing, or related technical field
- Must have basic knowledge of tools and machinery used in maintenance and construction
Experience
- 1–2 years of experience assisting artisans in a municipal or construction environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist artisans in the installation, maintenance, and repair of municipal infrastructure.
- Prepare and maintain work tools and materials for various projects.
- Support in the construction and maintenance of municipal buildings, roads, and other infrastructure.
- Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Assist in the inspection of completed work and report any issues to senior artisans.
