Qualifications
- Must have a Grade 12/NQF Level 4 Certificate
- National Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field (NQF Level 6/7)
- Registered as a professional technician with relevant body (e.g., ECSA).
Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in engineering, preferably in municipal infrastructure or construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning, design, and implementation of municipal engineering projects, including infrastructure development and maintenance.
- Conduct site assessments and inspections to ensure that projects meet specifications and standards.
- Provide technical support and guidance to other engineering teams during project execution.
- Prepare and review engineering reports, plans, and cost estimates for projects.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and other departments to ensure project deadlines are met.
